About Me

This profile is like a Cookie Monster 👹- it got huge;
I am in process of putting in on diet 😅 - so far unsuccessfully 🙃

Right now it has 3 main parts:
A. Who I like to host
B. Konrad
C. What to do in Copenhagen Guide - save this for your trip regardless if I am hosting you: this is your blueprint for 3 days of best touristic and less touristic spots in Copenhagen.

A.
You don’t need to get crazy about personal request - I know how it is to look for a host 😉.
What I do think is important is that we have good, easygoing time and for that maybe try to get a feel who your host is.

I like to host foodies, ipa fans and film buffs, divers, comedians and chefs 😁;
If you do ecstatic dance or contact improv - make sure to mention that
If you have been to a hippy or naked beach like La Caleta in Tenerife (or a Rainbow 🌈 gathering ect)- lmk
If you have been to Utila - lmk
If you speak Spanish and/or plan to bike 🚲 around that’s always nice.
I rather not host for 1 night; 2-5 is preferred (with a possible extension)

Ps. If you like to keep your place nice and clean you know it’s doesn’t happen by itself.
I keep the place clean, please leave it at least as you found it.

Konrad: there is no box

Hola! I am polish living in Copenhagen for 15 years.
I am not the nicest guy in town, I say how I see it but respectfully, if we vibe we vibe. Bring it on 😃

I have been on the road for the last 1,5 years:
I started with Camino Santiago then over to Colombia 🇨🇴 , Ecuador 🇪🇨 and Peru 🇵🇪. Later I was in Central America, did my divemaster in Utila and continued north towards Mexico.

I lived for 2 years in India, a while ago

I like non-fiction audiobooks and ted talks.
I am a diver, freediver, surfer, runner and an ex triathlete.
I bike in the city and I hope you can join - it’s the best way to get around in flat, bike friendly Copenhagen. baisikeli is the key 🔑 word.

When in Christiania, usually during the weekend, I like to have food at vegetarian Morgenstedet and go to the next door sauna 🧖‍♂️= Badehuset. It’s a mixed naked sauna; You can join and try this experience if you are up for it ☺️.

Too many drinks and too long and late conversations or board games also sounds like great plan. Bring some great and fun stories! 🙂

C. Ideas for your stay in Copenhagen:

Rent orange donkey republic bikes with an app or in a bike shop like baisikeli in Valby. Cycling is by far the best way to get around the city.
https://apps.apple.com/dk/app/donkey-republic/id933526449

Start with canal boat tour next to the parliament- Christianborg Palads that take you around the city canals for 60 minutes for 10 euro. It gives you nice overview of the city from the water; it’s lovely especially during sunshine days.

Then go to view point Christianborg tower (free) and skip the famous round tower ... from there head towards instagrammable Nyhavn and ..

Don't go to see the little mermaid, once you get there you will be like: WTF! ... but if you do - then go to the Citadel (Kastellet ) next to it - for nice walk and view - From there you can take a water bus to reffen

you should absolutely go to Christiania and walk around not only in the main weed area but also around the nearby lake and all the cafes.

From there you can bike to La Banchina for coffee or wine🍷 and a swim 🏊‍♂️- it’s a lovely restaurant with a sea deck - it on the way to reffen.

You must visit Folkehustet Absalon - it’s a cheap social dining, body movement and art community space;

Buy craft beers at Kioshk and drink them on the grass next to it or go to islands Brygge nearby and drink them sitting at the water.

Others:

Hang out in Norrebro - the multi ethnic district.

Consider trip to a small town up north Helsingør where the Hamlet castle is located (Kronborg)

There a ferry ⛴ trip will take you to the twin city Helsingborg in Sweden.

if you are more into nature go to dyrehave the animal forest a bit outside of the city

Ask if anything?!
