About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to enjoy my life as long as it creates opportunities

ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Konrad, I'm from Poland. My life is all about the passions I have - music above all! Besides listening, I also produce music. My beloved genre, an underground one, is called Hands Up. Another hobby of mine is designing websites. I'm keen on foreign languages - I study English Philology but my real love is German, that's what I learn at home. And last but not least, I'm happy to see how other people live, especially those far away from where I live. Exploring new places is what I'm always ready to do.
Now a few words on my personality: I think I'm kind, tranquil, surely very open-minded and objective, world-curious, approachable. I put emphasis on treating other people well because I've come to a conclusion that this is what actually makes us noble. Sometimes I may appear shy but it happens due to my anxiety that I may do something wrong. And I have always a positive attitude to life, no matter what happens. While I'm young I want to live my life to the fullest and take any opportunity that life gives us, and share happy whiles with everyone!

PHILOSOPHY

Try very hard to make yourself happy unless it harms others! Never hurt one's feelings, beliefs or any other value! Learn from any mistake you make and do your best not to make the same mistake again! Think objectively! Offer help and be offered help! Laugh at adversities! Appreciate what's around you! Tell your mother how much you love her! Follow your passions and dreams! Never give up! Never!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love Germany! I love people there and when I have holidays, I consider going there - to meet new people, do something extraordinary, attend quality parties and of course to share my experience.
But when there's an opportunity to go elsewhere, I want to take it. Now Austria is the aim.
I would really like to be able to host people where I live. Unfortunately, as long as I'm not the only locator in the flat, I don't have that freedom. Nevertheless, I am truly keen to meet people coming to my area (Zakopane, Tatra mountains) and hang out even for hours!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In April 2015 I experienced probably the most memorable adventure of my life. I stayed at a host's in Oberhausen where I could party at my favourite event, which initially was my main destination, but ended up as just one of several wonderful things that encountered me there, in Germany. The people I met, the places I saw, the food I ate... it all will remain engraved in my memory forever. It all was possible thanks to my host who is an admirable person!

My favourite book: "How To Win Friends And Influence People" by Dale Carnegie
