ABOUT ME
Well, what to say...I came from a land down under, which is not Australia but Sicily, that relatively to Europe is quite down under! I'm just a simple guy who really likes to know new people and cultures, go to new places and make experience about essentially (almost) everything!
PHILOSOPHY
Live life as it comes, as you can never predict what will come next even with like two seconds in advance and you can't allow yourself to lose time doing things you don't like if not for a greater good. But it has to be reeeeeally great and really worth the effort, otherwise JUST DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Sadly none. Not yet at least, but I will catch up, it's a promise!
Interests
I'm interested in science (sometimes in a nerdy way, i should admit!), but I obviously have also other interests like music (a lot of it), books and art in general, I find it a very exciting field. I like wandering around the cities expecially if they're "new", alone or with somebody else, just for walking or going around taking photos ( trying to learn how to shoot good ones!)

Music, Movies, and Books
I like Bjork a lot and all the music somehow related to her genre in the electronic field, but I'm also into the old good rock and some of the newest one. Great fan of Hitchcock, I like muddled and stunning films like "Dial M for Murder" from the beloved Alfred, and I love a lot of writers, above all Virginia Woolf even if my favourite book is "The Lord of Flies" by William Golding.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've ever done so far happened when I was in Senegal, not long ago. There was an important local festivity about to come, it's called Tabaski, in which the story of Abraham is represented: all Senegalese islamic families buy one or more lambs and male ships from the farmers to reproduce the sacrifice, and every year it's like a mission to find the most robust and strong animal at the cheapest price, and so they move all around the country from a market to the other starting negotiations that can go on also til late night. It was really awesome to be the one and only foreigner in search for a ram, moving from early morning to late night all along the northern part of Senegal, getting REALLY into the place!
Teach, Learn, Share
To offer, I have my mother tongue-speaking Italian, some scientific knowledge expecially about chemistry (even if I'm no Nobel and I'm not sure that it will be so useful for so many people) and I cook a very good ragù (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rag%C3%B9) and some other nice stuff. I would like to learn foreign languages, expecially German, good recipes from other countries. Meeting somebody else interested in photography should be great to share tips and, at the moment, I'm stuck with some juggling and I would like to learn how to use things like pois, kiwidos and so on...
