I want to respect egalitarian and natural principles. I cherish honesty and the value in words, although I'm easily confused by my own miscommunication, and I'm sometimes too trusting or fail to understand sarcasm. I value society and human interaction. I love people and animals and trees and insects and life. I do some cool comic books sometimes. I think we each have inborn skills and abilities that are somewhat dulled by non-use. We should try different things that interest us and see if we have a natural talent for them.

We should try to be happy, honest and kind to others in person. Treat them better than you'd like to be treated, even if they are making mistakes. One day you may have to be them, and you may need to be treated with kindness. It is not always easy to apply this principle, but if you aim for it, over time, you can learn how to positively impact as many as you can in different scenarios.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I want to host a little, surf a little, meet new people and let's face it — try to save money, which is of debatable human value. I want to explore the trust and barter systems and see if a world using fewer currency systems is possible. If it is, then places like CouchSurfing (and more likely, less corporate places like BeWelcome.org) are part of the crest of that possibility becoming real.

I joined this culture by hosting several people at my home, who told me about CouchSurfing, so I joined. It's such an astounding bohemian sorta community. Love being a part of it, even though the corporate move is worrisome. Please check out BeWelcome.org for my newer profile. I eventually may be migrating there permanently. I should only ever hope to find as interesting places and cool people as I have so far.

UPDATE 2023: I haven't been on here in a while and I've realized I must temporarily take a break, but when I return to this service I will be a supporter!
