Overview
About Me
I've just finished my studies in Freiburg, the city I feel at home in. I love the alternative spirit here, the connection to the black forest which literally starts in the city center, the many hours of sunshine and the students atmosphere.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hosting people is great for me because it can be a lot of fun, brings new inspiration and a kind of travelers-feeling, helps to explore my own city and see spots, which I wouldn't go to in day-to-day life and of course because it can just help others to have a cheap stay.
Couchsurfing at others' places is a great way of travelling for several reasons. It's just much easier to explore a place if you have a resident with you, so you can see the place not only from tourist's perspective. It's fun to meet people and it's a quite good way to have meaningful relationships while travelling. And it is a cheap way of travelling which extends the travelling time in the end.
Interests
I like doing many different sports like mountainbiking, beach volleyball, snowboarding, tennis... I like doing many differt sports rather than specialising on just one.
I like being in the nature, preparing food including the selection of good ingredients on the local producers market and cooking it afterwards in and for big groups, I like cycling and recently discovered it for me as a great way of travelling and I love DIY projects :).
