I'm a relaxed, easy going, open, direct and honest guy. Besides that I am always looking for the unusual, whether it's people, art, music, movies, hobbies, etc!
I like to produce my own music on a computer, I like DJing (as hobby, not professionally), drawing, bouldering, reading, watching some good movies or tv shows. But most importantly, I very much enjoy deep, honest conversations about life, people, the world, or the importance of chocolate cake.

Generally, I don't need much to be happy and satisfied. Its the simple things in life that matter!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet new and interesting people from different cultures. Exchanging points of view and ideas is enriching and refreshing.
I used to be a homebody, but after rethinking and re-evaluating my life, I realized that being a homebody is boring! And variety is the spice of life, as they say. I want to see what lies behind my own horizon, be it music, food, culture or... just things :D

Also, couchsurfing is a much more authentic way of travelling and meeting new people than for example some expensive hotel and tourist guides that rip you off. Besides that, sharing is caring! And I believe in karma :)

Music: way too much to list, so I'm just going to list my favorite genres: drum n bass, lots of metal and rock (especially psychedelic, stoner, doom), techno (mostly the harder and faster stuff :D), electronic, classical music, hip hop, trip hop, blues/jazz, lots of weird and experimental music (for example breakcore or drone metal), 80s pop/synthwave, ...

Movies: Fight Club, Enter The Matrix, The Shawshank Redemption, Die Hard, Interstellar, Inception, The Godfather, Gran Torino, Pulp Fiction, Scarface, Full Metal Jacket, ... the list is long!

Books: Metro 2033 & 2035, Future, The Forever War, The Stand, Siddhartha, 1984, Brave New World, lots of literature on psychology and self improvement, ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I discovered my true self, and with it the love for life, how to be a better person and how to finally get my sh*t together.

Also, once I went for a ride on my bike through the city wearing a horse mask. I couldn't see much, but the faces of the people on the streets were priceless! :D
