About Me

I am writing a book about the most incredible stories which happened with me or with the people around me. I collect this stories travelling from one place to another

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This story happened to me in Lille, France. I have been completely lost in this small city, I have no place to stay for a night, and no clue where I was. I was walking in nowhere, trying to Google at least my location, then a stranger passed me by saying "I was walking like this the other days and dropped my phone". I stopped to figure out who was this unknown man, we started talking about Lille, about Russia. I ended up staying at his place for a couple days even though he met me occidentaly. I was remarkably thankful to him and tryed to give him some Russian lessons in order to express my gratitude. At the end he told me: " why should we be afraid of strangers? Because for them, we are also strangers. Isn't better just to get to know and break this ice of awkwardness "

Interests

I am passionated with literature and languages. But I love not only to read buy to write in any language I can speak. Though my passion to languages and literature goes along with the cinema. I have even played myself in couple short movies but mostly I prefer to write screenplays and watch the actors put the life in the characters.

I would be incomplete if I don't mention sport. It's not only my hobby it's my life
I've been doing judo since a kindergarden but always dreamt of playing football. So here I am now, playing for my University team

Music, Movies, and Books

Books that I would read again and again "Rich man, poor man" by Shaw, "Triumph arc" by Remark and "Une belle ami" by Maupassant
As for movies, "Inception", "Lobster", " The youth" is definitely worth watching!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Have you ever dived from the rock 30m high? Or climbed an iced rock without safety equipment? Or may be cross a river swimming for a half an hour? Well I have!

Teach, Learn, Share

Last summer I was in Nice on a stage, learning French. I spent a wonderful time at this marvelous shore, and it was time to move on. My train was scheduled at 9 a.m. so I went to sleep like usual at 3 in the morning (it's just too hot earlier). I was dreaming so well that at some point I thought it cannti be that good, too good, I checked my watches, it was 8:45. My heart went down. I rushed to the railway station, picking everything up on the way. I managed to be on the station at 9.10. But that day the train was on time. I was broken down. Of course I took a new train ticket but I didn't want anymorry to spend a single day there. I went to the beach, but everything was disgusting to me. Then I saw here she dropped her hat and it was hustling from her to me. I gave it back to her and she sat near me. Then everything happened like in a drama, we fel in love (at least I think this way) but I had to leave, there were teats and promises but like in a bad movie (with a happy end) we met half year after and now I think she is the only one I need in this world.

Never get upset or regret anything, my friends. You never know what I'd awaiting you around the corner

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have lived in different cities, with different cultures and the stories I have gathered would amaze, teach you, make you smile, may be drop a tear. I bet also everyone is curious about our tiny world. And the best way to learn culture is to learn language!! I would be delighted to give not boring lessons!

I haven't mentioned that I love cooking and some of my favorite dishes: lazania, blins ( pancakes in Russian) or mashed potatoes with mushroom sauce - are told be very yammy
