Overview
About Me
Hey! It's Konstantina. I am from Greece, but currently I live in Sweden (and many years ago in Wales England for sometime).
I am both an extrovert and an introvert ("ambivert") and -according to phycological tests- an ENTJ. This means that I enjoy a good company as much as I enjoy being alone with myself. I have this really dire need of independence, freedom, education, creativity and constant movement (of body and mind) in my life, that really makes me walk on my toes all the time (even though sometimes it gets me really tired and I need to back off from everything in order to recharge my batteries).
My personal philosophical view is based in Stoicism and Realism, as well as the ancient Greek ideals that a person to be complete needs science as much as it needs arts and philosophy. So, even though I chose to be and environmental, quality and safety engineer (currentlyin the automotive industry), I really enjoy music (mostly jazz and classic), dancing (mostly waltz and tango), painting, literature, photography, and yoga.
I strongly believe in social volunteering and that "change" always occurs by individuals who decide to "make the difference".
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My first registration on Couchsurfing was several years ago, around my 20's. I think it is a really great deal to meet people from all around the world, new cultures and ideas that can expand our point of views and make us understand that quite often the "fear of the unknown" is just an illusion. For this reason, when we are able, it is important to offer some help to people who love this big adventure called "travelling".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Many experiences, but I can't really think of something that I would call "amazing".
Teach, Learn, Share
"Wise people know they know nothing. Smart people question everything they know. Stupid people seem to know everything."
Michael Angelo said "I am still learning" at age 73. As I grow up I consider myself more of a constant student, rather than a teacher. Never the less, whatever I have learned so far, I can discuss.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Except for my home, my frienship. They have to fit on my schedule though, because the house is in the forest and away from the bus station, so I am their "taxi". Unfortunately they will not have their own space.
