About Me

Hey! It's Konstantina. I am from Greece, and a permanent resident in Sweden (which i love).

I am both an extrovert and an introvert ("ambivert") and - according to phycological tests - an ENTJ. This means that I enjoy a good company as much as I enjoy being alone with myself. I have a dire need for independence and freedom, but I am also a very loyal person. I am oriented towards ever lasting education, creativity and constant movement of body and mind (even though sometimes it gets me really tired and I need to recharge my batteries).

My personal philosophical view is based on Stoicism and Realism, as well as the ancient Greek ideals that a person to be complete needs science as much as it needs arts and philosophy. Also I totally embrace the Scandinavian mentallity towards life, simplicity and balance.

So, even though I chose to be and environmental, quality and safety engineer, I really enjoy music (mostly jazz, rock, blues and classic), painting, literature, photography, sailing, and the gym.

I strongly believe in social volunteering and that "change" always occurs by individuals who decide to "make the difference".

PS:
*** I live outside the city, there is a bus, I could potentially host only Friday and Saturday night, not during working weeks
*** I want you to respect my space abd be clean *** no smoking and no shoes inside *** no drunk people or substances *** keep it quiet because there is a family living behind the house middle wall

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first registration on Couchsurfing was several years ago, around my 20's. I think it is a really great deal to meet people from all around the world, new cultures and ideas that can expand our point of views and make us understand that quite often the "fear of the unknown" is just an illusion. For this reason, when we are able, it is important to offer some help to people who love this big adventure called "travelling".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Many experiences, but I can't really think of something that I would call "amazing".

Teach, Learn, Share

"Wise people know they know nothing. Smart people question everything they know. Stupid people seem to know everything."

Michael Angelo said "I am still learning" at age 73. As I grow up I consider myself more of a constant student, rather than a teacher. Never the less, whatever I have learned so far, I can discuss.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Except for my home, my frienship. They have to fit on my schedule though, because the house is in the forest and away from the bus station, so I am their "taxi". Unfortunately they will not have their own space.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bulgaria, Cyprus, England, Germany, Macedonia, Norway, Sweden, Wales

Countries I’ve Lived In

England, Greece, Sweden
