I am Konstantinos and I am an 20-year-old student from Greece. I live in Athens but for the last year I am doing my Erasmus in Berlin and it's by far the most crazy lifestyle I have had
I try to find interest in everything, because I can be inspired and I believe it can help me grow and improve.
I love talking about sociology, culture, literature and languages. I mean, most people probably do, especially on this app (I am not special lol) but still I get so excited whenever I hear anything cultural-related. I am on my journey to discover myself, society, the world.

I love meeting people from other countries and other cultures. I believe there is so much to learn from one another, so many different experiences and perceptions of reality. Social media can do wonders if we use them the right way.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I live in Athens and I see that touristic Athens, where tourists spend the time, around the Acropolis etc is so different than the "real" Athens, where locals live and hang out. And this applies to most cities, I suppose. That's why I am on Couchsurfing, because it gives you the chance to experience a city through the lens of a local person, to see how daily life actually is. You get to escape that glamorous but not realistic bubble. That's the difference between a tourist and a traveller, I will dare say.

I have met so many incredible people on this platform so far that have inspired me.

I like movies that have beautiful cinematography and interesting aesthetic elements, like Wes Anderson's movies and movies that have authentic and intriguing plot, like the ones that the A24 movie studio produces.
It is so hard to name one specific movie, because there are so many!
The same applies to books. I don't have a specific preference, as long as they have some interesting plot and ideas to think about afterwards.
