I am easy-going open-minded Russian guy with good sense of humor, and deep interest in stories and experience of people from different parts of the world. I have moved to Moscow to study and now I live here for 5 years. Before that I spent 7 years studying physics in Novosibirsk. I grew up in Kazakhstan (when I was born it was part of other country though). I have a kind of strabge mix of educations: Bachelor of Science in Physics & Master of Arts in Economics. Maybe I will do PhD in something else ) Currently my occupation is finacial consulting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me travelling and meeting new people is a one of the must in my life. New experiences, other cultures & lifestyles, uknown ideas etc. - things I am looking to discover.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: actually, there are a lot what I like to listen. Styles don`t matter. I grew listening Prodigy, Moby, FatBoy Slim, PetShop Boys etc. Other rock groups such as RCHP, Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult; new wave Talking Heads; Franz Ferdinand; Daft Punk; I like pop singers as well: Madonna, Beyonce, Katty Perry; Since I have danced for a while, I like hip-hop/rnb/rap too.

Books: Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged", A Song of Ice and Fire (I have read 3 books yet), Michail Bulgakov's "Heart of a Dog", George Orwell's "1984" & "Animal's Farm"

Movies: Into the Wild; Forrest Gump; Bourne's Trilogy; Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels; Knockin' on Heaven's Door; The Departed; Groundhog Day; Home Alone, Ameli. Also I like to watch smth less known movies, for example from Fatih Akin and other "festival" directors' movies
