About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To continue showing the world that hospitality and connection are not dead concepts.
ABOUT ME
Hi everyone, I guess I would say I'm an easy-going guy, definitely capable of seeing the humour in life and getting involved in good conversation. I tend to go with the flow, enjoy whatever it is I'm doing and generally seek to please the people I spend time with. I value cultural experiences and don't expect everything to be the same as 'back home'.
I've travelled to about 30 countries, and realise there are people who have done a hell of a lot more than that. But I count my blessings. What a world we live in. ☺
PHILOSOPHY
It's good to learn from others, but being totally and naturally yourself can show you a million things about who you are that you never knew.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I currently live by myself in Bradwell-on-Sea in Essex.
My little family (my son & my partner) come at weekends, so weekdays are a possibility.
It's an old English cottage in a quiet, peaceful village with a couple of English pubs and a marina down the road. If you're looking for some quiet time to chill, with internet access, TV and time to read or wander the country lanes, maybe let my chickens out in the morning while I'm at work, then perhaps we can work something out for a few days :-)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Once in Czech and a couple in China, and I'm forever grateful. Haven't hosted yet.
