ABOUT ME

We began our travels on January 1, 2013 leaving our old life behind for a new life of service and adventure and are looking for places where we can use our skills to help individuals, communities and the planet.

We both have extensive nonprofit backgrounds and specialize in development, communications, event coordination, online marketing, organizational planning and general admin. We're also TEFL certified! We have worked for grassroots organizations and know what it takes to make things happen. We want to put our hands and minds to good use.

Most recently we have been living and working in Los Angeles but we are originally from England (Luke) and Germany (Sarah). We are thoughtful, considerate and hard working. In our spare time we love exploring new places, hiking, swimming, meeting new people, reading, watching films, cooking & eating.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've been lucky enough to open our home to a great group of surfers from all over the world each of whom have been open and kind and shared their diverse experiences with us. Now we became couchsurfers and it has been a wonderful experience all around!

Interests

Reading, writing, photographing, collecting experiences, solving problems, volunteering, green & simple living, meeting people and seeing the world for what it truly is. And trying to make it a little better in what ever ways that we can.
