Hi my name is Kor. I am half Dutch half Polish. That on average makes me a German. I grew up in Amsterdam and my passion is stand-up comedy and storytelling. During the day I am a historic tourguide. I give tours in the city center (I work together with Sandemans New Amsterdam) and I also give tours in the RIjksmuseum and the Van Gogh museum. I am really passionate about the city and the amazing stories about it.

Myself and a small collective of storytellers have been organising a fantastic little event thats been taking place in Doka, a cocktail bar under the Volkshotel on Wibautstraat, the third Saturday of each month. Basically storytellers, local and from around the world, come and share stories from their lives, always in English. We have had professional stand up comedians, professional musicians, imrpov actors and every day people on the stage telling their stories. Usually they are funny but also inspiring and at times emotional too!

I've performed in Iran as a storyteller/comedian. Never performed under so much censorship. But these two weeks in Iran where the best time of my life. Well, at least it was the best travel experience in my life.
