About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm an engineer in Computational Fluid Dynamics and Artificial Intelligence in nuclear engineering.
I love my work, because I love Physics, and Science. I'm also a huge fan of Science-Fiction.
I also write some stories (several SF novella and a SF novel).
I spent ten years in Africa (I was raised there), four years in French Guiana as a teenager and almost one year in Sweden as a student.
I have been to Senegal, Mauritania, French Guiana, Russia, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, French Polynesia, India, Thailand, Fiji, Maldives, Ukraine, Tchernobyl, Albania, Croatia, Monténégro, Philippines, etc. I'd like to visit North Korea.
I love Nature : swimming, snorkeling, diving, walking in the forests, in the mountains, enjoying beautiful landscapes, etc.
I love diving :
- professional dive guide (PADI Divemaster #359996)
- N3 (CMAS 3*)
- Advanced Nitrox
- Nitrox Rebreather
I also love cooking :)
I love animals, especially big dogs!
As an engineer, I'm fascinated by Elon Musk, his transhumanist vision and the speed at which he's accomplishing crazy things - like SpaceX.
Because I work in the nuclear industry does not mean I'm pro-nuclear. Of course I'm not against, either. I'm on a middle pragmatic position.
I'm a rather quiet person. I like partying in bars of course, but I don't really like night clubs and too loud music. I'd rather have beers and rhum with a few friends at home and discuss late in the night.
I *love* sauna. I even published a scientific paper on that topic, about numerical simulation :

PHILOSOPHY
I'm a very scientific and realistic person, but I let the door opened for other things... Anyway, I try to enjoy my life :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Me and my former roommate hosted 3 american CSers for a few days. We did the cooking, we drank some french stuff, and we really had a great time.
I went to French Polynesia, where I met two CSers in Tahiti. It was an awesome experience. I also met a CSer in Moorea, and another one in Huahine, both were very pleasant experiences!
I also hosted an american girl, we visited the Catacombes in Paris, it was a nice experience.
I hosted a belgium student who was looking for a student place for his school year.
I also met many CSers in Thailand, and a very nice Belgian couple surfed my place recently.

Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you mathematics, physics, coding, numerical recipes, and so on.
But who cares?
I could also speak for hours about the beginning of Life and the Universe.
Beware : Quantum Physics inside...
I'm also a divemaster (professional dive guide) so we can dive together!
