Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think the best way to discover new places is to meet local people who can tell you about the ins and outs of there place, about there favourite places and way more things than you can find in any guidebook. It's the only way I know not to feel like a tourist.
And it's a really good opportunity to meet welcoming, interesting and nice people who always will make your trip special.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kind of music currently I'm into the singer songwriting thing.
Lasttwo books I read were "Blink" (Malcom Gladwell), its about the power of our unconsciousness and "The place in between" (Rory Stewart), he's describing his walk through Afghanistan in 2002.
My favourite movie is "intouchables" a french movie based on a true story, its hilarious but also very deep.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I discovered the helpfulness and kindness of the lao people after getting stuck twice in an hour on a dirtroad at night in a national park. To come to an understanding just by using hand and feet with a huntsman who managed to get us some help as if it was the most common thing in the world amazed me.
