My goal is to learn new things, skills and gather knowledge, so my life is ever changing.

Food is one of the most important things in my life and I love to cook and prepare meals. I try to be as curious as possible and not rely too much on recipes but let my own knowledge and feeling decide how a meal will turn out. I hate how food is treated and wasted in our society and therefore I am active in the food saving network and go dumpster diving from time to time. It's not a bad thing to profit from the stupidity of others.

I make music (mostly acoustic Folk/Country stuff) and earn a little money with it on the streets from time to time. I gave up on waiting for my big breakthrough and concentrate on writing songs just to write nice songs. And also to get the smiles and happy looks of the passing people on the street (and of course their money).

I also work as a vegetable gardener in a community supported agriculture right now. I don't know much about growing vegetables but I try to improve this knowledge.
As I said I'm always eager to learn new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to give people the opportunity to stay in Bamberg to visit this beautiful city and share my spots and favourites. And in exchange I want to get to know other places from a local point of view.

Interests

I love cooking. Music is also very important in my life and is always surrounding me somehow. My main Instrument is the guitar but I will try to play everything that makes noise.

I can really dig into a topic if it interests me and spend a lot of time researching everything about it.

Having good gear is mandatory for the success of a project (cooking, music, crafts, etc.) so I'm always gathering new gear but more importantly maintaining the one that I already have. Before you throw it away, try to fix it!
