ABOUT ME

Like a big traveller I've visited a lot of places around the world. :)
The best way to understand the country is to have a conversation with someone native.
I'm person with a sense of humor, communicative, active, serious, good listener, trying to be less talkative. I like finding new places and trying new things (food! Adorable stuff! Great view! I'm amazed).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was on some meetings in Italy, and know couple great couchsurfers in Vienna :)
In October'12 I was travelling through Switzerland and had great hosts in Zurich, Bern and Luzern.
June'13 met me in Milano, Italy, I was hosted by great french guy :)

Interests

I like walking (pretty much!), cinema (really know a lot about it), music (60s, the pop-music of 70-90s), cycling (oh, please! I live in Amsterdam now), swimming (a great swimmer, yeah), singing, percussion and etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Many, many, many..!
I adore films from 40s 'till 10s (so practically all of them). I watch them a lot. My favorite directors are Charlie Chaplin, Tim Burton, Quentin Tarantino, David Fincher, Woody Allen. Also I like films with Benedict Cumberbatch, Jim Carrey, Audrey Hepbern, Alan Rickman, Meryl Streep, etc. And can talk about cinema.. forever and ever :) Mainstream and documentaries especially.
Music: Music matters a lot to me. Even if I can't name favorite bands. I listen to pop, indie, classical rock, jazz and so on. The Beatles, Ludovico Einaudi, Pink Floyd, Adele, Yann Tiersen, Stromae, some great russian musicians, etc.
Books: I like reading books. But usually it depends on my mood. My favorite autors are Ray Bradbury, Oscar Wilde, Ivan Turgenev, Erlend Loe, George Orwell, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was three times(!) in Niagara Falls, Canada & US: it was absolutely incredible! Last time in May'16.
Also already twice (upd. summer 2014) I was on lake Baikal (in Syberia, Russia) - you should be there! Just for understanding something eternal.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a good at swim. Also I can teach Russian ;)
Above all I can give lots of tips about places in Moscow, Vienna, Baikal (the deepest lake in the world, lovely Syberia), Kamchatka and Amsterdam.
