Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By crashing on couches. We will make ours available as soon as we return to Texas.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We started couch surfing in Asia four years ago and every experience has been extremely positive.

Interests

Music (to name very few): Matt the Electrician, Seela and Torch, Raul Malo, Lyle Lovett, Keb Mo, Billy Holiday, Django, Dr. John, Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals, Ella Fitzgerald, Casey Chambers, Madeline Peyroux, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Cubano Son, among many others.

Movies: Shawshank Redemtion, Usual Suspects, Bull Durham, Swingers, Some Like it Hot, Philadelphia Story, Anna and the King, The Princess Bride, among others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Crossed the Bolivian Saltflats, took in games at both Yankee Stadium and Fenway Park, survived the Potosi silver mine, played with seals in the Galapagos Islands, won on a 60-1 underdog $2 bet at the Kentucky Derby, swam underneath Angel Falls, ate ten courses prepared for us by Chef David Bull, and had a bihemispheric kiss on the equator. (This needs to be updated... we've seen some really amazing things these past four years...)

Teach, Learn, Share

+ We have traveled extensively throughout the entire Western Hemisphere, Asia and the Southern half of Eastern Europe.
+ We are very knowledgeable of the political systems of the United States and are students of our country's history, short as it may be.
+ We are amateur connoisseurs many of music, scuba, wine, food and baseball and try to learn about each as much as possible.
+ We are avid readers in many subjects and can at least begin an intelligent sounding discussion on just about any subject, though we might not know enough to finish it.
