I am a Belgian guy that is currently studying in the Netherlands. Ever since I lived in Italy for a couple of months during high school, I have discovered a huge interest in the diversity of cultures that can be found on this planet and what makes people tick. Going to different places and meeting new people is a great way to burst my social and cultural bubble, hence the reason I am on couchsurfing.

As a traveler I try not to plan everything in advance, as that allows for impulsive plans to develop, which often become great adventures. I am a big fan of strolling around cities, but can also enjoy the wonders of nature and any outdoor sports that it offers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because there is no better way to get to know what a place is all about than by a local. Similar to hitchhiking I love the random encounters and interesting stories that couchsurfing offers.

Very diverse taste, whatever I'm in the mood for. From techno to latin music, from an Italian classic like La Vita è Bella to the latest Marvel. I am very fond of art house cinemas that show a variety of international films with topics that offer food for thought.
