Overview
About Me
I'm a student of the 5th year of Chemical Technology at the Warsaw University of Technology in Poland. Originally I come from the small city Bielsko-Biala in southern Poland. I'm an open-minded person, happy to meet new people, discover new places and cultures :) When it comes to my personality, I think I am very down-to-earth person with a lot of humour, some spontaneity and craziness from time to time :)
Besides the studies and work, I am a travel lover. I try to use opportunities to stay in one country for a bit more, than just vacations. My technical studies allow me to work almost all over the world. That's the reason I always try to combine my travels with some exchange programs, internships to meet the culture and the country better. Until now I have been/worked/traveled in the Europe (UK, Spain, Germany, Slovakia, Croatia, Hungary and many others...), Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, USA, Oman, UEA. Currently, I am doing an Erasmus program in Cordoba (Spain).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The more I travel, the more I am interested in meeting new people and discovering the real culture of the place I am in. Luxurious hotels all-inclusive are not places where I find myself happy and comfortable. When I travel, I usually stay in budget hostels or in hosts, because I enjoy having time with other travelers or locals.
Couchsurfing is for me another opportunity to get to know local people, have an interesting time and maybe understand the world better.
Interests
Apart from traveling, I really like cooking and eating of course. I don't eat meat, so creating a meal needs from me a bit more creativity. I often look for some inspirations from foreign cuisines.
When I have some free time, I do some sports like yoga, running or swimming.
I'm also a big fan of trying new activities and things, which I have never done in my life before :)

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to books, I really like reportages and non-fiction. I am also interested in psychological books.
I'm a big fan of based on the real story based and psychological movies, which gives you a thing to think about after watching. But also, like many women from time to time, I dive to some melodramas to cry with some ice-cream by my side ;)
I don't have any particular favorite kind of music - I'm open to discovering :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last summer together with my friends we went for a spontaneous trip to the desert in Oman. We have just packed our stuff, rented a car, picked one point on the map and headed there. Without knowing any people, hostels there, counting just for openness and hospitality. And it was an amazing experience! It was the middle of the Eid Mubarak - the most important holiday during the year for Muslims. We spend all night having a barbecue with locals in a small village, which was followed in the morning by feeding camels on the desert and enjoying a ride on dunes ^^
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would be happy to share with my hosts my time. I really like sharing stories, experiences with a glass of some wine in the hand :) I also like cooking so I would be happy to help with preparing some local specialties :)
