Hi I grew up between New Zealand and Australia and have always moved between the two throughout my life. I guess the gypsy life is all I've ever really known, though occasionally I settle in one place for a while and see how that goes. Hahaha. I'm a friendly, open person, who is very easy to read at times. I am good with animals and children. I like to paint and draw and generally create art in my everyday life. I guess I can be a bit of an outsider to the system we are all raised in to at times. But as a guest I'm friendly, trustworthy and will happily help cook and do the dishes. I'm great at cooking breakfast! Anyway give me chance you won't be disappointed, I have a wealth of life experiences and PLENTY of stories if you ever have the time to hear them. Thank you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've decided to spend this month traveling around the South Island (for the first time) and thought it might be a good idea to get one of these just in case I find myself too broke or stuck for a place to stay in my travels. Will happily contribute to any place that will have me in any way I can. I really hope I get to see the Fiordlands/Milford Sound... as it has always been a dream of mine to go there and also hopefully I will be able to see some of the cave paintings around Otago region. Eventually I'd also like to check out Takaka.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done heaps of things.... sung in musicals, performance art, painted murals, been commissioned to design logos and letterheads, done styling for music videos, hair and makeup for events, planted trees, been a grounds keeper at a cemetery, made paddles for a replica viking ship, gone streaking .... you know what they say jack of all trades, master of none.
