About Me

Traveled around the World for 5 years.

I am an engineer and a researcher by qualification and an adventurer and an explorer by heart.

In 2012 I quit my job as research engineer in Germany and started traveling in Europe and Asia. I like to travel slow, hitchhiking or by local bus or train, visit places on the way, meet people. I am interested in religions and how they influence the culture and way of life of people. I spent some time in Buddhist temples in North Thailand for studying meditation and Theravada Buddhism.

I love reading books, learning languages, dancing, hitchhiking.

Bulgaria is my home. I used to study and work in Germany for many years. Used to live in Thailand, where I did an internship at one small university. And also in Japan, where I did an internship at a major Japanese engineering company. I fell in love with Asia!

My hobby is dancing Bulgarian folk-dances. I like the nature and animals. When I was kid I used to spend every summer vacation at my grandparents village, helping at the farm, taking care of the animals, playing on the river.

This is my blog:
