About Me

Profile is pretty old but will update sometime or I can tell you all about what's new since I first made my couch surfing profile.

CURRENT MISSION

good times great oldies

ABOUT ME

I try to enjoy life at all times. Some friends and I opened up a music venue/bar/restaurant. We've been open 3 years and it's a blast.

Sitting around with friends is one of my favorite activities. Getting into wild adventures is also great. Games are an awesome way to interact with people.

PHILOSOPHY

you've got to keep on, keepin' on!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had awesome people sleep on my couch and I've slept on awesome peoples couches.

Interests

I like to stay active and use my body. I like to run around and jump on things. I am pretty flexible. I aspire to be a gymnast, breakdancer, acrobat and yogi.
I enjoy the great outdoors, camping, and hiking. There is just something about seeing nature and the way the world was before we decided to put concrete on everything.
I love eating food, any and all. Always like trying new foods. I can't wait to try lutefisk and smalahove (even though it's probably going to be terrible) when I am in Norway.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I enjoy watching most all movies even the bad ones. I don't really enjoy horror movies but I do like some zombie movies. Some of my favorites movies include Shawshank Redemption, Goodwill Hunting, most Quentin Tarantino movies (Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Inglorious Basterds), most Wes Anderson movies (The Darjeeling Limited, Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Life Aquatic), foreign movies are good too. I recently watched Trolljegeren in preparation for my Norway trip.

Music: I like most any music. One of my favorite hobbies growing up was finding new music to listen to. Branching off in almost every direction. Started with the 60's and 70's rock my parents listened too, progressed into punk, metal, hardcore, noise. then softened up some into ambient and instrumental bands. discovered jazz and classical. now it's mostly indie rock, hip hop, and electronic music. basically I like any music that can invoke emotion.

Books: The Man Who Was Thursday by G.K. Chesterton, The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck, Being Peace by Thich Nhat Hanh and Electic Kool-aid Acid Test by Tom Wolfe. When I drove my car for my job I listened to a lot of audiobooks which sorta counts. I enjoyed 1984 by George Orwell, On the Road by Jack Kerouac, Chronicles of Narnia, and The Art of War by Sun Tzu.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Conan O'brien shook my hand and told me I have a nice moustache at Bonnaroo.

Competing in the World Beard and Moustache Championship in Norway is one of my favorite memories.

Countries I’ve Visited
