About Me

I am an amateur musician and producer with great passion for electronic and classical music. I play various music genres (but mostly jazz and electronic) with a guitar, piano or synthesisers, I compose my own music and produce it.

No progress is already a regress.
Feel the music!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I would like to experience things, travel, meet, watch, hear, smell, feel, inspire and be inspired. Because it is a nice way to get involved in something interesting, meet extraordinary people, learn a lot about yourself and the world or give something to the others.

Because this world is so big and yet we try to learn something about it.

Interests

Music is my greatest passion - playing instruments and composing music as well as music production, history of music and music theory. I play jazz piano but I'm not a very professional pianist, still learning.
My greatest dream is to become a professional music producer one day.
I want to get involved in some performance arts like live sound & light shows or some art fusion.
What I love are music films and clips. I want to do something in this matter in near future.

I enjoy learning and speaking languages. Linguistics is an amazing hobby, I only know some basics but still this is extremely interesting.

Psychology is my third great interest. For me the most interesting standpoints in psychology are the ones represented by Jung, Skinner and Wertheimer.

I'm interested in psychedelic culture. I had a great time participating in a few psytrance festivals in Europe. There are amazing stories about such experience.

Architecture, both modern and historic is another thing I consider very interesting.

The metaphysical guidelines of Taoism are deep and so natural for me that I share many of taoists' observations and their point of view in general. That makes Chinese culture very interesting for me.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite music artists are Aphex Twin, Future Sound of London, Autechre, Floating Points, Miles Davis, Bill Evans, Dave Brubeck, Chick Corea, Frank Zappa, Carbon Based Lifeforms, Solar Fields, Shpongle, The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble, Ulver.

I am a great fan of Emir Kusturica, guy has an excellent, absurd sense of humour and if you liked "Black Cat White Cat" or "Arizona Dream" we'll definitely get along.
I also like Coen Brothers, Tim Burton, Jim Jarmusch and Stanley Kubrick.
Paolo Sorrentino is an amazing director too.
My favourite film genre would anyway be sci-fi or some 'psychological' films. Hope you liked Blade Runner or Alien movies.

My favourite book is "War" (1970) by J.M.G. Le Clezio. I also really admire Anthony Burgess - "The Wanting Seed" and "A Clockwork Orange" are among the best books I've ever read.
I like sci-fi in general, the Dune series is a total masterpiece.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did travel to the Pluto and back using Divine Moments of Truth. I can tell you about it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you basics of playing the instruments I know (piano, guitar, synthesizer), or more deeply, the sound&music synthesis, music production and music theory if you are interested.

I can teach you anything you want about Polish language.

I also know French well but I often make errors and my speech is very slow comparing to natives. It's similar with German but I make even more faults and errors. French/German speakers welcome if you can handle my mediocre niveau of language acquaintance.

I can teach you a lot about psychology and science - acoustics or electronics and all different scientific subjects connected with sound in general.

I would like to learn any language I can, also interested in learning history and culture of any country.

Also if you have good knowledge of Maths that's pretty awesome I need to learn a lot about maths and it's sometimes a bit complicated for me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can definitely show you my city - I know it by heart and very deeply. I have a lot of friends here and they speak many different languages including some considered very oriental in Europe, so with me you have a chance to meet many inspiring persons.
And most of all I will share my abstract point of view on reality and world around us.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Hungary, Ireland, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In
