Music, Movies, and Books

Love a good book, especially some of the English classics. Virginia Woolf is my soulmate. I do like some Australian and NZ literature too.

I like films of Lars Von Trier, Harmony Korine, Micheal Gondry, Miranda July and many more. My music taste is pretty chaotic, I enjoy post-rock(Mogwai, Godseep You! Black Emperror, Sigur Rós, etc.) but also electronic music (Gus Gus, Stephen Bodzin, Claude Von Stroke). All sorts really. Some of my favorites are Pixies, Sonic Youth, Modest Mouse, Boards of Canada, Bjork, Bonobo, Four Tet, and more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Slept in a tipi in the Arctic Norway and marvelled at breathtaking northern lights during the beautiful Arctic autumn. A definite highlight of my time in Tromsø :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love languages but I'm only fluent in two so I'm eager to learn more.
I practice Ashtanga yoga and love to exchange experiences and thoughts on that subject.
Vegan/vegetarian cooking is another thing I've learnt while working in different places home and abroad and I always look for inspirations when I travel.
Getting to know more about local culture and environment is always part of my mission when abroad.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I teach English and translate from English to Polish so I can share some of these skills ;) I can also cook some nice vegan and vegetarian stuff
