I'm originally from Macedonia but have spent half my life almost traveling around the world. So far I've been to 51 countries... latest addition is Uruguay. I like to learn languages as I travel and that is how I picked up Portuguese and Spanish.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I love the concept of people helping each other out as they travel. I used to do that before there was a service for this and now can do it more with couch surfing. I've welcomed many friends in to my house(s) and have been welcomed by many. When I come to a new place I like to experience it through the eyes of the locals, eat local food, learn the language and make friends who share my passions in life!

Music, Movies, and Books

I have wide tastes in music.. I like bossa nova a lot and love how brasilian portguese sounds. In movies I lean towards science fiction and books are something I enjoy every day. My favorite book is The web of life by Fritjof Capra and share the number one spot with Men search for meaning by Victor Frankl.

I have climbed the glaciers of Alaska and seen the northern lights!
