Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate in CS by hosting other travelers when I can and through using hospitality of the CouchSurfers from the foreign countries when I travel abroad.
Will I be able to host someone depends mostly of my schedule, work plans and other unpredictable circumstances including mood as well as the important factor :) My basic intention is to help the travelers because I know very well how much is it important to have a host and accommodation while traveling. Solo travelers of any gender will always have advantage in order to get to my couch which doesn't mean that I don't like to host couples or people that are traveling together with a friend :) But I have to say that the people that are coming to Belgrade just because of "partying" are at the bottom of my list. And as well those that are coming here in order to attend conferences, seminars and similar events and just need a couch.
In my opinion it is very important to write a comment, especially for the person that has decided to host you. I admit that sometimes I am a little bit lazy for doing it but I will definitely always write a comment to all my hosts and guests as well, sooner or later.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a member of Hospitalityclub for years, more precisely from 2003 while I started to use CouchSurfing in 2007 as it became much more popular in the meantime. All my hosting and surfing experiences from both networks are more or less positive.

Travels, obviously. Current affairs, music, literature, movies, history, aviation, architecture, bicyclism, photography, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travels definitely. Until now a 130 days long journey along the great Silk Road including the Transsiberian that I did in 2009 is the best thing that I've ever done I guess.
