关于我
Hello! I'm Kostas, 32 years old. I did my master's in Cultural Anthropology at Utrecht University.
I lived in Chile while conducting research for my thesis, and I absolutely love traveling and meeting new people!
Right now, I’m also working on a script for a documentary based in Tanzania.
Here in Athens, I work in the humanitarian field, and I’m also part of a band — I play the drums!
Feel free to check out my Instagram to see more about my music, travels, and projects: https://www.instagram.com/kostas_tsaras/
我为什么加入 Couchsurfing
I think Couchsurfing is a wonderful opportunity for people who love to travel and want to learn about new cultures.
It’s also a great way to make friends from all over the world.
Actually, Couchsurfing is an excellent — and maybe one of the few — ways to use globalization and easy internet access for a truly positive purpose!
I enjoy sharing experiences, life stories, and even food or local products with people from different cultural backgrounds.
Most importantly, I deeply respect everyone’s privacy. That’s why I value the unique connection between personal space and public interaction that Couchsurfing creates — for me, that’s what it’s all about!
兴趣
I listen to a lot of music and love discovering D.I.Y. bands and independent artists across all genres.
I play the drums and have a band here in Greece — you can check us out on Instagram: @head_on.
I also enjoy watching movies and really appreciate all kinds of film festivals, from small indie screenings to large international events.

音乐、电影和书籍
I listen to music all the time — it’s a big part of my daily life.
I enjoy many different genres, from 1950s jazz to post-rock and everything in between.
I also love watching movies, especially international cinema.
Some of my favorite films come from Korea, Japan, Argentina, Brazil, Italy, France, Germany, Denmark, and Sweden!
我做过的一件不可思议的事情
I had the amazing opportunity to do fieldwork research in Chile as part of my master’s studies.
It was a truly eye-opening experience that allowed me to connect with local communities and deepen my understanding of cultural anthropology in practice.
