About Me

ABOUT ME

I don't use CS really often but I'm very much on this culture of accomodating people which i don't really know either because they are in need or they want to travel and really get familiar with other places. So, i accomdate people but not using CS. Also, CS used to gather people who were interested in meeting new people and see the places in their daily life. But i don't know why i feel that the last years there are more tourists and people who want to have extreme sth or crazy party in Athens or i don't know what else - i'm not the right person if you feel like that.
I live in Athens the last 11years, I'm a Phd student now here in History of Science and Technology. I'm more interested in politics and philosophy, i always like deep conversations about the world and people relations, i enjoy very much eating something good and authentic, i can't afford discriminations (race, gender, age etc) and i'm not really good to talk about myself..
so you can ask me honestly and please without any tact.

something important: I don't think that travelling is fun but learning, so i don't expect from people on CS to show me the "musts" of every place, i just want to understand their way of life, their perspective.

one more important:I don't really like (i could say "hate" here) all these "i'm an open-minded person" what does it really mean?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on CS (consider the notes above please) because i think we all should be able to travel without being consumers, so we should have free hostage. And not being consumer means that we want to relate to a knew place in an honest way, learn with a spirit of equality (and not from an upper/lower culture or a colonialistic approach). So, a network which try to connect people like that can serve this purpose.
