ABOUT ME

I am hard to categorise. I find it hard to describe myself. I am full of contradictions. One thing is for sure I am as transparant and as transluscent as a foggy day in winter.
I work as a criminal defence lawyer and have worked in aboriginal legal aid services in the Northern Territory. I advocate on behalf of the underprivilidge and marginalised. I have a passion for social justice and believe it my duty to utilise my skills to help others in trouble with the law.
Whilst i consider myself confident and fearless I am also troubled by doubt. I am humbled by the beauty and the paradoxical cruelty of humanity.
I have trouble settling down. I want my attitudes, beliefs, values to be cconstantly challenged.
I value integrity.
I aspire to great humour and seek wisdom in generosity of spirit.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to overcome the stalemate that is postmodernism.

Interests

My favourote way to spend my time is to draw abstract designs for sticker art or cut up magasines for collage. But I also enjoy cooking, cinema, travel, ancient history,greek mythology most styles of music, poetry, classical greek and russian literature; contemporary art-sticker and street art; seeking inspiring people to share experiences and ideas, and being challenged into contemplating different perspectives.

Music, Movies, and Books

These change at any given moment. Prefer to sit, drink wine talk and at that given moment go through the list that comes to mind. However just to get an idea, some of my favourite movies include: All About Eve; Sunset Boulevard;Sweet Smell of Success; The Third Man; Ivan Rubliev; Breathless; La Dolce Vita; Dog Day Afternoon; Blade Runner; Reservoir Dogs; Dogsville; Elephant etc.
As for music, some of my favourite albums include The Beatles' "Abbey Road"; Dylan's "Blonde on Blonde"; Phillip Glass and Ravi Shankar "Passages"; Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds "The Murder Ballads"; Gorecki's Symphony of Sorrowful Songs etc etc...I have a large cd collection I can go on forever, simply put I cannot live without music, or books for that matter some of my favourite books I read last year inlude Lermotov's "A Hero of Our Time", Goethe's "The Sorrows of Young Werther", and Camus' "The Rebel". I am an avid reader of non fiction and enjoy reading on history particularly ancient and classical greek history.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Waking up in the morning and contemplating on the miracle that is my existance.
