I am an grad student in physics who lives in Richardson,TX. Though I have been living in the US for around 5 years now, I have Indian citizenship. I love art- I doodle a lot on my iPad and occasionally paint in oil. I am interested in all kinds of media, but my consumption is limited by my attention span. I am drawn towards sense of adventure and exoticism, although I am moody and impulsive.

I've been living in the US for five years but I've never been able to make time or money to go out much, which is a shame because my private life is filled with all things american-music,films, TV, etc. Also, as I've gotten older, I've come to realize that sticking with friends you get by "default"- usually of your own cultural background,workplace and the likes- are not the best way to make friends. You don't really get to chose your friends and I'd like to have that freedom. As I face the american culture from a distance, I only see it as institutional and rigid and I'd like to get to know people behind the curtains who shatter my prejudices and preconceptions. I believe getting to know people helps me be less judgmental of myself and have more perspective. Also I am a concert goer but do not like going to concerts alone.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Travelled around the world. I mean literally. Dallas to Dallas in about a month, over the atlantic and then over the atlantic with hops in about 5 countries in between.

I want to learn new languages. Learn to cook new things, and learn about different cultures. Also new instruments.

Can teach the basics of current Indian culture and our eccentricities. Not much into religion and yoga though, but I know the basics. Physics. Digital illustration.
