COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed all over Europe in Winter/Spring 2012, and I loved every moment of it! So far I've only hosted once, but I can't wait to do it again.

Interests

My interests are widely varied, but here a quick Top 5:

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I'm pretty easy to please, but I definitely prefer thoughtful comedies or dramas. Apocalypse Now has ruined my life a few times, but it's also my favourite film.

Music: A bunch of European metal, mostly Swedish, Finnish, or German. I won't bore you with the list, but feel free to ask!

Books: The usual -- anything that either inspires or takes away any will to ever wake up again. Big fan of Russian authors pre-1900. Joseph Conrad. Erich Maria Remarque.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sat next to Perry Farrell, singer for Jane's Addiction, in a ski lodge once. He ate a waffle. We didn't speak.

Teach, Learn, Share

Anything and everything! I particularly love learning languages (especially German and Swedish) and doing my best to leave a positive impression of America.
