About Me
ABOUT ME
After traveling to Africa (Tanzania) in 2013, I have become more and more interested in traveling. Since then, I have traveled to 9 more countries in four continents.
I am a medical doctor (my specialties are internal medicine and endocrinology), and in the future I want to travel as a working doctor (highly considering MSF), and help people who are living and struggling in desperate conditions around the world.
I have hosted CS'ers in my previous homes in New York City and Igdir, Turkey. I also stayed as a CS guest in other countries. Having done both (both being a guest and a host) has been a great experience.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When visiting a country, staying with a CSer makes the visit much more invaluable. More than anything else, getting to know a person and spending time (even as short as 1-2 hours) with him/her taught me much more about the city (or place, or country) and its culture.
Likewise, when I hosted CS members in my apartment, I learned a great deal about my guests, their lifestyles, their countries and cultures.
Interests
Classical music.
I also play classical piano. I recently learned some Rachmaninoff preludes.
Last, but not the least, travelling! While some of my places of interest are common tourist destinations, I also like to travel to less known places.
