About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet new and exciting people, travel the world living life, and sharing stories with good friends.

ABOUT ME

I'm a fun and easy going guy who tends to bite off more than he can chew. I like to stay busy, and get bored with people and places when they get stagnant. I love meeting new people, listening to live music, and hanging out by the beach. I consider myself a pretty open person and enjoy meeting people different from myself. I like to learn about new places, people, and experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

People are constantly growing and changing, no matter how old they are.

Never give up, Never surrender.

Humility can be a path towards greatness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Ive been fortunate enough to of met several great friends and people through couchsurfing. Unfortunately, only a couple have made it through my couch due to location (but those who have are great people), but i've surfer through parts of South America, and Europe and its been one of the best ways to travel. Definitely off the beaten track.

Interests

Traveling, anywhere and everywhere. The study and pursuit of history. I love to play and watch sports, and currently spend a majority of my time training for the UCI track and field team.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all movies, action, comedies, drama, its all good. In terms of music I tend to lean more towards rock and alternative, although in the past year my friends have gotten me into jazz and a few other types of music. I have so many books that I consider favorites, i dont think I could ever generate a comprehensive list, but a few include: Brave New World, Oryx and Crake, the Alchemist, the Aenied, 1984, Siddartha, Burmese Days, and Fallen Arms....oh and i suppose the Harry Potter series...damn you stefan.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would prefer people to ask me about these experiences in person, I do not want to diminish the memory of the experience by trying to squeeze it into a text box.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would definitely consider myself more of a person who likes to learn rather than a person who can teach, I just don't think I have lived enough life to teach much. However, I do believe you can learn something from anyone, and I am no exception to that rule. Right now im studying history at the University, and I am on the track team. So if you ever want to learn how to throw a hammer, shot put, or discus, then I'm your man.
