I lived off and on between Istanbul and Portland for language study, and tried to travel as much as possible in between - using mostly couchsurfing. I'm settled in Portland for the time being. I just started learning Portuguese and Brazil is definitely sounding like it may be my next destination.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Most of my couchsurfing experience has been in Istanbul in 2007 where my flatemate and I hosted uncountable amount of surfers passing through; and we surfed quite a bit ourselves traveling around Turkey, Greece and Bulgaria.

Interests
