About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Taking every opportunity presented to see the world!
ABOUT ME
My name is Kristine (with a K) and I grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I have lived in Milan, Italy and a couple spots in Turkey and now I live in New York in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
I'm down for anything and I like other people who are easy going and adventurous as well.
Random Facts: I hate traveling with people who don't like to walk, sometimes I plan entire trips around the activity of eating and I miss my dog all the time. I would say I'm more on the active side than the chill side because I always want to have new experiences!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've met some awesome people :)
Interests
Traveling (obviously) Food, fashion, meeting people, seeing cool things. My favorite author is Gabriel Garcia Marquez yet I've struggled to truly love Murakami. I like music a lot, I used to work in the industry, but now I go to less and less concerts because I'm old :p

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was in Greece on Easter at a tiny resort overrun with American college students and on a walk through town, somehow ended up getting invited to Easter dinner with a random Greek family who sang to us, set off fireworks and stuffed our faces with homemade traditional dishes and ouzo. Despite not being able to communicate, it was so cool to be there.

Teach, Learn, Share
If someone offers for you to stay somewhere cost effectively, take advantage of any opportunity to go somewhere new, even if it sounds like an unappealing one. Every experience is a learning process, and if you appreciate small things even undesirable things can turn out to be meaningful.
