I recently finished school (summer 2011) and I'm working at a restaurant to save up money and travel before I become an adult. I'm sarcastic, enjoy good conversation, good company, and a good laugh.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Honestly, I haven't yet. I wish I could host, but I live with my mother and it simply is not an option. I'm just excited to meet people from around the world.

I'm new to CouchSurfing but I have heard great things about it.

I love music, film, nature and theater. I also enjoy travel (not surprisingly), and meeting people from different places.

Music, Movies, and Books

To numerous to mention and not feel like I'm living something out. I like all kinds of music (classical, rock, afrobeat, funk, electronic, jazz... and more) and all kinds of film (I try to watch as many movies as possible. Usually not Hollywood films, but I'll watch anything that someone recommends to me). I also enjoy a good book, though I admit I read less then I should.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I find that often the small things are the most amazing. I go to the St Patrick's day parade every year in Detroit, but equally incredible to me is going to see a concert in a city with a band I never knew existed, or meeting new people, with a new point of view, that force me to think about life in a new way.

Teach, Learn, Share

I consider myself to have a pretty broad knowledge base, and a large interest in politics, history, cooking, art, music, liberal arts, etc. I'm willing to try anything once, and I love to learn about new things.
