I'm a 31 year old that currently lives in Santa Barbara and works 2 full time jobs, which is why I'm not hosting at the moment. I enjoy exploring the world when I can, as well as adrenaline like activities. In my free time I enjoy riding dirt/street bikes, skim boarding, surfing (though I don't really surf anymore), rock climbing, friends, hikes, bike rides, and seeking adventure.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING:

I love hosting when possible, and enjoy being hosted when I travel.

I like to meet new and interesting people on my travels and on their travels. You learn much more from meeting someone and spending time with them (even limited) than you ever would staying in a hotel. I would like to visit every state in the US before I'm thirty (did it) and would like to visit as many countries as possible in my life. The more places I visit and people I meet, my knowledge horizon expands and it helps me understand that there are so many different ways of life than the current one I see everyday. I really enjoy learning and am always trying to educate myself in some way weather it be taking continuing ed. classes or personal endeavors.

I enjoy military books (No Easy Day, Lone Survivor, American Sniper, etc.), the DaVinci series, Great Gatsby and Ask the Dust. And of course Starboat, written by my Grandpa.
