About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am currently looking to couchsurf while I am studying abroad in Europe next year so I can travel as much as possible.
ABOUT ME
I am a third year student at the University of Wisconsin. I am majoring in French and English and working on 2 certificates: one to teach English to speakers of other languages and one for European Studies. I love all kinds of music. I used to be a music major (clarinetist). I speak English and French (almost fluently) and I know some Spanish and Italian. I am also learning Guadeloupe Creole and have recently been really interested in learning Dutch. :) I love languages, cultures, and travelling. I am currently studying abroad in the south of France and am looking forward to travelling around Europe and meeting all kinds of people. :)
PHILOSOPHY
It is what it is. I have recently become a lot more "chill" in my attitude towards life. I just take things as they come and I try to, of course, live every day to the fullest!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I heard of couchsurfing a few years ago, but haven't really thought about it until now. I think it would be a great way to meet people all over the world while traveling. Unfortunately, I don't have a couch to put up for grabs right now but I hope to in the near future. I am looking forward to doing some couchsurfing while I spend the next year in Europe!

Music, Movies, and Books
There are way too many to even list! Although I am currently reading the Millenium trilogy by Stieg Larson and it's really giving me the itch to go to Sweden and learn Swedish!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I have ever done was choosing to go to school in New Orleans for a year. I learned a lot and met a lot of different people from all over the country and world. Even though I don't live there anymore, I will always consider it to be one of my homes, even if I am not a "true" New Orleanian.
Teach, Learn, Share
I think couchsurfing will be a great way for me to meet new people around the world. I think it will help me appreciate and learn more about different cultures. I want to learn how to be more flexible/adaptable to different situations and environments.
