ABOUT ME

I guess I´m a person with many faces (after all, I´m a Gemini). I consider myself to be quite flexible; flexibility, as opposed to dumb rigidness is also the quality I appreciate most in other people. I like smaller companies, as in years I have grown more and more to dislike crowds. So quite often, I enjoy being alone with myself. I may appear way too serious for some people, but in my opinion way too many people are not serious enough, so I try to counterbalance things. :) I am constantly trying to improve myself and I am my own worst critic.

I´m interested in everything that has to do with language and culture in large. In other words: (human) life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don´t really restrict myself with any categories, I always like to explore and to discover new things. My latest interest in music has been classical stuff. A few years ago I was turning into a real film buff, I saw enough films to consider it an addiction or an avoiding of reality. I have it under contol now, but some of the movies that come to my mind at the moment are "Sátántangó" by Béla Tarr (some very haunting scenes) and "Du Levande" by Roy Andersson (the Nordic irony). As with music, I like to watch very different films depending on my mood, so every now and then I also like to see some very bad b-movies. My favorite writer at the moment is Svend Åge Madsen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are definitely many, so I´ll say that my life as a whole is probably the most amazing piece of tragicomedy I have witnessed and that I will continue to experience and relive for the rest of my life.

I can always hope that I am able to give something to the people in my life, but it´s impossible to know what it is excactly, before I meet you. Time will tell.
