We are Christian and Kathrin from Germany. We quit our jobs and left our families to fulfill our dreams and travel the world with the biggest luxury you can have on a journey: enough time. For the next years we will just have our tent and our backpacks.
We are scouts since our childhood and so we grew up with being outside, making campfires and camping.
Kathrin has an eye for every little detail which crosses her way and a very creative, open mind. She also makes the best meals with simple ingredients.
Christian volunteered for one year in Zambia, working in a primary school in a very rural village and has lots of very amusing african stories to tell.
We enjoy making music with the travel guitar and the ukulele and after a glass of beer we also start singing ;)

We think traveling is about meeting people and making new friends. Everyone has an interesting story and idea of life and sharing these is more than you can learn in school

When we started on planing our trip, we thought a lot about how to travel and our way of living while we're outside. And as we are scouts we are used to a simple way of living, being environment friendly and living mindfully.
So we reduced the things we carry with us to a minimum and worship all that comes our way even more. For example a hot coffee in a cold morning becomes a precious thing if you don't have the possibility to buy one at the next edge of a street.
