ABOUT ME
In the year 2006 i went overseas to live in New Zealand for eleven months. This was with an exchange program from the Organization AFS. In that year, i met so many incredibly nice people on my age. this means that i now have friends in almost every corner of the world. Since i came home, I've visited a few, and had a few visits myself. I really enjoy the sharing of homes and cultures. My goal for the next few years is to get around the world to see more of my friends, and i really hope to see some of them here in my own home!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to help the community, by offering help to find a place to stay here in Copenhagen, or just show visitors how to find the their way around. i might invite people to stay here for a night or two, if they need it as well. Since i have so many good experiences with visiting my friends from all around the world, staying with locals, i would love for everybody, to have that possibility.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have visited my friend in northern Norway, where i slept at her place(as a friend) and lived with her for a week.
I have had two different friends that i met on my trip in New Zealand here to live for a week.
I really enjoyed being let into a family, share their meals and traditions, as well as i enjoyed having people here sharing their perspectives on my culture.
first four months of 2010 i travelled south america couchsurfing, mostly with people i had met before. My hotel experience for those four months were a total of 5 days, so i had my share of sleeping on couches and living with people. Great fun :)

Teach, Learn, Share
When you stay at somebody else's place, always bring a gift, cook a meal, or find another way to show your appreciation of hospitality. If you have any quirks, or special religious traditions be upfront about it.
Hosting someone from another culture with you you might have to explain, how things work, so they know what they can allow them selves to do. Also so they don't get surprised. Anyways be large with them, they might not know what is not appropriate compared to your culture.
