我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I heard about couchsurfing from a friend who has used it recently. I was told it's a good way to meet people and other travelers.
I'm mainly interested in the cultural exchange, and since most people here are travelers, I would also love to hear your stories and take notes of travel tips, etc. to encourage me to travel more in the coming years. (I'm a very good listener, but I tend to ask a lot of questions, so sorry in advance 😁)

All genres of music: my music ranges from Johann Sebastian Bach to Metallica.

I like classic books (my favorites are Anne of Green Gables and all the other books in the series--but I haven't finished reading them all--the Alchemist, and Pride and Prejudice among others), but I also read contemporary, romance, detective, etc. (insert Where She Went, The Last Juror, An Eyre Affair, etc.)
I have quite a few books in my room, but to be honest, I've only finished reading a fraction of them. 😁

I like the LOTR series, the Harry Potter series, I would love to say Divergent and Hunger Games but I haven't completed watching all the films. At the moment, some of my favorite movies are Life is Beautiful, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Inception, and Interstellar. Looper and The Illusionist are good movies, too. Old boy, the Korean version, is a bit disturbing, but I'm open to discussion regarding the ending. Lol
50 first dates, 500 Days of Summer, and Me Before You, I'd say, is for the hopeless romantic in me. Hehe
I also like movies like Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy ("I am groot" 😁), BvS, etc., but I know I still haven't seen a lot in terms of Marvel and DC--I still have a lot of catching up to do.

And for TV shows, I have watched a number of episodes/seasons of Nikita, Big Bang Theory, House, Friends, HIMYM, Pushing Daisies, Scrubs, etc.
