About Me
Hey - I'm Kris from Würzburg - now Oberdürrbach, a little village outside of WÜ, Germany. This is my old profile where I still keep a friendslist and some references:

(you can also see that we are both verified members :))
I have been doing couchsurfing since 2008, so I would say I'm quite experienced and have learned a lot on the way.
Alright - this was just the prologue.
I´m a teacher at a private school in Würzburg and teach mainly English. I love to travel, in particular by motorcycle! In the past years I have traveled a lot:
- 2007 Paris and northern France
- 2008 USA east coast (7500km)
- 2009 northern part of Germany (Berlin, Hamburg, Emden)
- 2010 Italy (northern part with beautiful Cinque Terre, Monaco/Monte Carlo, etc.)
- 2011 no travelling...got my university degree in teaching
- 2012 All over England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Wales and back to Germany
- 2013 Las Vegas, Cote d'Azur...
- 2014 a wonderful trip over 4000 kilometres down to Sicily and back over Croatia and Slovenia...it was awesome...definetely one of the best ways to go on holiday!
- 2015 USA - meeting some friends I met during my other visits in Europe...world is a small place
- Paris over New Year's
- 2016 USA again with my girl 3 weeks driving cross country by car and then we switched the car for a bike an rode down the west coast for a week to San Francisco. Awesomest time evr including Yellow Stone National Park, Orca watching in Vancouver... couldn't get any better :)
- Hamburg over New Year's
- 2017 two and a half weeks motorbike trip through Switzerland, Austria and the north of Italy
I might be a teacher by day but I am a musician (guitarist) by night...on the weekends. It's great fun being on stages around Germany and playing some good old rock'n'roll :) ..and other stuff as well that makes people dance! You are always welcome to come and see the band...and party.
By the way: if you think about bringing some gifts or souvenirs, please don't bring alcohol (no sarcasm - for real - I don't drink, although I am a long-haired guitar player)! Thanks :-)
I like to share the experiences in CS as well as the BIG knowledge of my hometown (now: Sarcasm)...I try to make as much time with the CSers to get to know each other or go out, show them around.
