ABOUT ME

I'm an optimistic, cheerful person, keen on traveling and meeting new people from as many different countries and cultures as possible. I also love volunteering. I have been a volunteer for more than 5 years now, did one year long vol project in Italy, participated in helping and organizing many social events and conferences, and it is still one of my most favorite things to do.

PHILOSOPHY

I always thought that people should be more cheerful and more friendly to each other. If only we were more giving than taking, if we were more tolerant to each other, if we thought our mission is to help others, the world would be a much better place.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've had some awesome people as hosts in my past. Unfortunately, I don't really have a place to host someone yet but I really hope one day (when I get my own place) I'll be able to provide a free couch for enthusiastic travelers like myself. And for now..I just hope there's at least a little corner at someone's place and a little time to show the city around :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first CS experience on 26-28th of October, 2012. It was so lovely and interesting. Staying at a complete stranger's house and still feeling safe and good. :)

兴趣

I love sports, music, arts, meeting new people, watching good old movies and laughing till I can't breath. I enjoy discovering and inventing new stuff, seeing new places and experiencing new things. I play guitar and a bit of piano. I'm keen on learning new languages (I know only two languages besides my tongue lang though).

Movies. Preferably old ones, e.g. from 1950s, 60s, also comedies and adventure movies.
Music. Depends on the mood. Usually, salsa, merengue music, something energetic. Otherwise, much classical music.
Books. Adventure, history.

Nothing special yet. Maybe only the time when I watched stars at night somewhere in Sicily, Italy (and a person I liked was nearby so, you know, it was kind of special :D ).

I could tell about the history of Lithuania and language, Japanese culture (the real one,not only anime), teach how to play guitar if you want :D
I really want to learn as many different languages as possible. I'm really keen on foreign cultures and history.
