My current mission is to meet fellow couch surfers. I don't have a couch yet, but I'm down to meet up!

ABOUT ME

My name is Kris, but everyone calls me Jarvis. I'm open minded, a little shy at first, but I open up with a little time. I like people from all walks of life. This social experiment known as life works best when people put aside their differences and find common ground.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't participate in any religion, and I don't know if I believe in god, so I suppose you could say I'm agnostic, but I would say it's not anything that I or anybody could comprehend. I think it's a feeling. It's energy. And it flows through each and every person, place, and thing (every noun I suppose), and you can pass energy between beings, and energy has the ability to affect the places we live in. I also believe the lost art of empathy and patience are important to being a good human being.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm still new to couchsurfing. I recently learned about it, and am inspired to try it. I don't have a couch available yet, but if you're in Lincoln, I'm down to meet some fellow travelers!

Interests

I like anything musical. I like to play, listen, talk, experience, and record music. I enjoy nature, camping, travel, situational comedy, history, recycling/repurposing, weird people, good coffee. I like to share whatever I have with the people around me (music, food,conversation or a vinyl listening sesh).

Music, Movies, and Books

music: I'm pretty open minded here. I like a bit of everything except metal, modern country and radio pop. I'm into rock and roll, indie, jazz, folk, classic rock and old outlaw country, reggae, and occasionally dig on some EDM and Latin music.

I actually don't watch to many movies anymore. I mainly catch different tv series shows on Netflix if I'm not busy doing anything else.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I road tripped through the Rocky Mountains a few years back, camping my way to Vegas, and it changed my life. Drove during autumn, so the trees were all different colors. Camped near babbling brooks in the mountains, woke up to frost, and it was most glorious! I haven't seen either ocean, and that's a shame. That's why I joined this site, so I can see more of what makes this world great!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a degree in Audio Recording Technology and have been playing drums for 16 years. If you would like to learn anything in either of these 2 fields, I would be more than happy to show! If anybody has a green thumb, I would love to develop that skill. I'm looking for more reasons to leave the living room. (funny how the "living room" is where to go to ESCAPE living via television, eh?)
