ABOUT ME

I'm living in Meise and working as an analyst/ programmer in Brussels. I'm an open minded person who would love to travel a bit more. I would like to meet the locals of the places I visit, so I can experience more than the regular tourist does.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

2007

July 13-16: city trip to Rome with Sven and Tom, where we met up with cs'ers Martina and Roberta

August 15-26: road trip around Ireland with Sven and Tom. We met up with Mirna, Anna and Sinéad and were hosted by Pete and Diane, Lisa, Joke and Janet, Jessica, Rob and Solène. They are all wonderful people, it was a fantastic experience!

August 31: cs meeting in Ghent organised by Lore, Graham and Sven. Met a lot of wonderful people... it was just great!

Oct 5-7: great trip to the Oktoberfest in Munich with Lore, Wendy, Sven, Koen and Rafael... and a few beers of course!

Dec 21-24: city trip to Prague, which is a wonderful city. Our host Christophe was so kind to host me and my 4 friends and took out a lot of time to show us around the city.

2008

Jan 19-20: Jessica and Fergal, whose couch I surfed in Ireland, visited Ghent. We partied in Ghent to celebrate Jessica's birthday and we all surfed Sven's couch.

Feb 1-3: spent a cs weekend in the abbey of Orval together with 9 cs'ers and had a great time!

Mar 29: Stella Artois brewery meeting in Leuven organised by Stijn and Raf. First we visited the brewery and afterwards we visited a few pubs. Surfed Andrew's couch.

May 20: Alternative historical walk and bar hopping meeting in Ghent organised by Joke, Mieke and Sven. Met a lot of interesting people!

June 14: Lillo meeting organised by Olivier. First we visited Doel and Lillo and afterwards we went out in Antwerp.

July: several meetings in Brussels, Ghent, Leuven and Antwerp. I hosted Mamatal (Mali) for a weekend and we went to the Beleuvenissen festival and made a city tour in Brussels.

August: meetings in Brussels, Lokeren, Antwerp and Mechelen. I hosted Toby (Los Angeles) 4 days and we went to a meeting in the park of Woluwe and went out in the center of Brussels.

Sep-Nov: a lot of meetings and parties in Antwerp, Brussels, Dendermonde and Ghent.

Dec 14-31: wonderful trip to Thailand where I met up with Sven and Olivier.

I like all kinds of music but my favorite groups are Coldplay, Radiohead, U2 and Deus.
