ABOUT ME

We are a couple from Belgium currently making a trip around the world. We will be traveling through Asia, Australia / New Zealand and South America. I (Kris) am a computer engineer and my girlfriend (Martine) is a pharmacist.

We both quit our jobs to go traveling for a year.

PHILOSOPHY

You only live once and you better get the most out of it. We try to enjoy every day.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We offered our couch for about a year, but as there are lots of available couches in our area, nobody responded.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not much yet... We heard lots of positive stories though.

兴趣

travel (of course), other cultures, nature, all kinds of sports like jogging, cycling, skiing, snowboarding, ... We like to explore together and we sometimes have lively discussions. :-) We like to learn new things and have new experiences.

I (Kris) can be a genuine computer nerd so we can talk about computers all night. This will bore most people so it's good to know that I am also good at not talking about computers :-) But if someone might be interested we can talk about programming, web development, enterprise software engineering, data analysis, data visualization, ... I also am very much interested in science in general.
