About Me

I'm a curious traveler who sees the world as a playground and life as a personal experiment. I like encountering people who can be part of my community. I look for stories and collect beautiful moments I chance upon unexpectedly.

I'm trying to find balance and get back to being a creative so I spend a lot of time in nature while traveling trying to gain inspiration. I want to live a life in service to others so I always look for opportunities to volunteer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people, interact in person instead of online, and chill with fellow travelers. Also, venturing to seek people with similar interest is a lot of work on my own. So I put myself in situations where I can be found :)

I adapt well to new places. I'm usually considered ethnically ambiguous. I look Asian, sound American, speak Spanish, have a strong affinity toward European lifestyle and culture. I guess I like giving others something to be curious about.

Music, Movies, and Books

Literature is my first love. I study characters in books and in real life. I read a lot of lyrically written fiction and well-stylized nonfiction/essays. I used to write creatively, but got distracted by mundane elements of life. But really, there are very few things in life better than a good story. It takes very special people to draw my creative side out of me.

I listen to house/beach/EDM/beats music. Bach is my favorite classical composer and I listen to a lot of his works.

I like watching art house films and indie movies. I used to watch a lot of art/indie movies at Laemmle Theatre and USC Cinematheque in LA, as well as Siskel Film Center in Chicago.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled to 30 countries. Moved to the US from PH at 14 and moved again to PH from the US 14 years later. I split my time between Manila and Los Angeles, and travel extensively in between.
