I love travelling and discovery, domestically and internationally. To make the best out of it takes patience & empathy, the ability to adapt to any situation and learn quickly. With all of the migrations that have taken place in our past many of us are in places we may not be fully compatible with, so the best way to figure life out is a good attitude and some travelling!

Interests

In Montreal I have always worked in restaurants and cafes by day, which has led me to have a love love for good food and good coffee. It's history and place in our consumption as much as it's taste! I have also been a DJ and record collector since a young age, and I organize shows in my home town and often create poster art for my own projects and for others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first visit to Detroit was such a surprise, the biggest lesson being that you can not always trust the media or peoples gossip. After being warned of how dangerous it was, I arrived there and saw what people were afraid of, but what they did not know and could not know were the people who live there. Everyone I met was so kind and full of life! Many of them spoke of the bad reputation of the city being one of the main reasons people were afraid to discover it or know more of it's history. Since that first trip I have gone back 6 times and made some lasting friendships. Detroit remains a place that I seriously considering moving to in the future, for it's space and sense of community.
